Student Unions
The students of all schools have the right to register as members of their school student union.
Representatives of the students participate, in accordance with existing legal provisions, in the collective bodies of their school and university.
The student unions of all A.U.Th. schools are members of the A.U.Th. Student Union.
A.U.Th. Student Union was founded in 1960 in order to coordinate the student movement. It is involved in issues pertaining to the academic community and student concerns, it participates in university committees, and its proposals contribute to the efforts to upgrade university studies.
A.U.Th. Student Union is run by a 15-member central board elected by the delegates participating in a congress organized by the student union, which identifies the goals of the student movement. The central board is responsible for the implementation of the congress decisions.
