The International Relations Department of the University of Thessaloniki is responsible for the promotion of scientific cooperation with foreign Universities.
      Within the framework of the University, a large number of agreements for scientific cooperation have been signed with European Universities, Universities in the U.S.A., Canada and Australia. These agreements, which concern specific Departments, provide for the exchange of teaching staff and students, for either a short or long period of time and for either specialised or more general programmes.
      Moreover, the University is involved with a wide range of matters concerning international relations, such as its participation in international scientific organisations as well as informing members of the university community about relevant topics.
